Math has always been more than numbers to me—it’s a language of logic, beauty, and challenge. At Thinking Pathways, I’ve made it my mission to help students not just understand mathematics, but fall in love with it. And when it comes to Math Olympiad training, I bring both deep expertise and relentless passion to the table.
🎓 Credentials That Count
My journey began with a degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, where I honed analytical thinking and problem-solving at a high level. Since then, I’ve spent over 15 years tutoring students across all levels—from PSLE to Junior College—and specializing in advanced mathematics. As a certified MOE trainer, I’ve worked with schools and private students to prepare for competitions like SMO, SASMO, and SMKC.
I’ve trained students at Kranji Secondary School for the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad and coached both primary and secondary students for local and international contests. This isn’t just tutoring—it’s mathematical mentorship.
🔥 Why I Love Tough Math
There’s something exhilarating about tackling a problem that seems impossible—then cracking it open with creativity and grit. That’s the thrill I want my students to experience. Whether it’s combinatorics, number theory, or logic puzzles, I bring tough concepts to life with visual tools, games, and collaborative thinking.
But I’m also a learner. I constantly refine my methods, explore new heuristics, and adapt to each student’s cognitive style. Math Olympiad training isn’t just about speed or tricks—it’s about nurturing deep mathematical intuition.
